A great day's fishing!

This 15.5lb trout was caught in the Lower Selwyn River on Sunday October 16th by 10 year old Ben Strong using  a live bully on a 6lb line.  Ben (left) and brother Daniel are pictured with the trout. Ben and Daniel are the fourth generation to have fished the Selwyn from Lower Selwyn Huts. 

Planting day on Saturday October 8th postponed
