Opening the Lake

The 2009 community meetings on the future opening regimes of Te Waihora/Lake Ellesmere were attended by over 75 people.

These meetings were a follow up from the Living Lakes Symposium held in 2007, and a lead in to the review of the current consent for the opening of the Lake, which expires in 2011.
