The WET Trustees meet 4 times a year and anyone who is interested is very welcome to come along to our meetings (and also very welcome to get more involved in the work of the Trust). At our last meeting we agreed that we would invite a variety of speakers to come along and give us a brief talk on something related to the Lake.

For this meeting we have Trevor Isitt from Fish & Game North Canterbury coming to give us a short presentation on the history of F&G and Alan Strong will give an overview of his recent report “The Te-Waihora/Lake Ellesmere Brown Trout Fishery Collapse and the Short Term Recovery”.
The Trust meeting will follow at around 7.20pm.
